 Fiji Boutique Real Estate Trend

Talk to those in the know and here’s an inside track on what’s been happening with Real Estate sales in Fiji over the last 6 months.  There are many major Resort developments that are coming online at Natadola, Momi and a few others scattered around Viti Levu (Fiji’s Main Island). What Luxury Properties of Fiji has learned is that, while there is very little movement in terms of sales at these massive resort projects, there is far more considerable activity with smaller lots for boutique resort projects of quality to premium level property sub-divisions.  With many of these lots still wildly undervalued lots in the ranges from 5 to 100 acres still available these represent the best value to discerning investors.

Fortunately for readers of our regular news postings, Luxury Properties of Fiji specializes in these exact types of opportunities. We go through the most intense efforts to source quality properties that represent significant value to the end purchaser.  These are properties that combine strong locations, considerable levels of amenities, motivated sellers and attractive pricing options.

US Buyers Dominate Fiji’s Recent Real Estate Activity

Another hard to ignore market development is the consistent and steadily growing influx of US buyers into the Fiji real estate scene. Fiji Water has taken over as the nation’s top imported water and the popularity of the phenomenon water cannot be overlooked on influencing the interest of prospective buyers.  Additionally, the US dollar continues to offer a stronger value then the traditional market for Fiji real estate from the Australian and New Zealand currencies. Americans are in a good position to take advantage of the Aussie/Kiwi decline and use this period as a time to take advantage of the saving from a demand decrease and the ensuing market adjustment.  It’s time to act quickly and strike while the iron is hot before even the US market heats up and drives up prices once again.  While Fiji will represent enormous value for the next decade or more when compared to other traditional vacation opportunities, it’s unlikely that prices will ever be this low again.
